Everyone is welcome at interact so it is a great opportunity to meet new people who have similar mindsets, go to different schools or are different ages than yourself.
At interact the club runs and organizes projects without a lot of adult interference so there are lots of jobs needed to be done and plenty of opportunities to try them all.
As a high school student volunteer hours are a requirement to graduate and since interact is a non-profit organization volunteer hours can be collected during our events and signed off by our adult advisor.
The premise of Interact and its sponsor organization, Rotary, is "Service above self". But who said service can't be fun? At interact we love to have a good time while working hard to make change in our community and become better leaders because of it.
